God is Love.

Yes people! its the L word. Love. Now its not going to be a soppy post about love, its gunna be a post about Gods love for us, and how that shows us how we should love.

1. Gods love is unconditional. no matter what you do you cannot stop God from loving you. fact. Romans 8:38-39

2. Gods love does not run out. its not an offer that runs out after a certain time. God has moved heaven and earth to be with us, and he wont ever stop trying.

3. Gods love is shown by action. there was no bigger action of love than Jesus going to the cross. so why as humans do we fail to show our loved ones how much we love them. its not about sending them cards on valentines or randomly saying i love you, because Jesus showed us he loved us with his entire life. thats how we should love each other and God. with our entire lives.

Now here is some things love isnt.

1. Love is not fuzzy feelings. we can be deceived by fuzzy feelings, thinking that this is love. love is when you see something that is imperfect, but you dont care, you see the good things.

2. Love is not something little. some people are so quick to say i love this or i love that or i love this person. as said before, God is love so when you say i love something, you should be able to back it up like God does! hehe

3. Love is not perfect. or should i say, our love is not perfect. so we should not expect perfect love from each other, but we should always strive to give perfect love.

Prayer

Prayer is an essential part of being a Christian. We say we have a relationship with Christ, and the most important part of a relationship is communication. Just like a relationship its not about just asking things, its about fellowship with Christ, its about listening to God and hearing what he is going to say to you. Prayer isnt something that we should do out of duty but out of a love for God and wanting to spend time with him. sorry for the simpleness of this one, and its length but its late. xD

Faith.

This post is in response to Jacobs post about faith. I must agree with a lot of what it said however I must make a few additions to it and give my "opinion" on Faith. I will obviously be using scripture to illustrate my points. 

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11: 6(NKJV)

This is a verse of scripture that tells us clearly that to achieve our primary goal as Christians, Pleasing God, we must have faith. But what is faith? Faith is seeing what is unseen, is what the bible tells us. And I wholeheartedly agree, however does this mean that faith is destined to always be blind? 

I dont think that it is, its important to understand the difference between what we call faith, and what we call sight. the two work with each other. God reveals himself to us, that is what we mean by sight, we SEE God work in our lives, that is sight. Its when we dont see, or cant feel God working that faith kicks in. without faith its impossible to please God because its like having a marriage without any trust within it. It will definitely fail because of the lack of trust. By enlarge as Christians we have two reasons for our relationship with God to fail, an excess of sin (were all sinful so we will never be without it) or a lack of faith, or sometimes one causes the other. Abstaining of any responsibility by saying, I am sinful therefore there is nothing I can do. I agree that there is nothing that WE can do but JESUS can do it! if you ask him.

If there is any time you need faith, pray and ask Jesus for the faith to get through it.
